The Connection Is...
Amazing, allowing the one voice to
rise above the crowd, reassuring presence
is near.
Beautiful, knowing thoughts hidden
to others, enjoying time spent learning
plans and dreams.
Inspiring, laughter in another room
sings soul's happiness with harmonies of
sweet lullabies.
Understanding, of what it believes,
why it believes, strong enough to disagree
yet endure.
Constant, whether together or apart, never
broken, in tact through heart and thoughts
despite distance.
Still, laying near one another without
words, candlelight illuminating eyes
not needing to speak or touch, but just be.
The Connection Is...
Beyond physical, an attraction of
the mind...
the body...
the soul...
as one.
