Lestrange Or Otherwise...She's All That And A Bag Of Chips...

Say what you want about Helena Bonham-Carter, but she makes evil look positively enchanting.

It doesn't matter if she is screaming, "Off with her head!" with feet resting upon a pig, channeling Bellatrix Lestrange for the Dark Lord, or looking for a Room With A View, Helena Bonham-Carter is amazing. And she can do crazy like nobody's business. Would you expect anything less from the fearless woman who fell in love and procreated with none other than the macabre Tim Burton? That is a woman secure with herself.

My first introduction to HBC was way back in the eighties when she portrayed Lucey Honeychurch in A Room With A View. Even at her young age, she was totally embraceable as a young woman not about to settle for a life without passion. From there she was unstoppable and has portrayed more personalities in the past twenty-five years than some actors attempt in a life time.

What I also like so much about Helena Bonham-Carter is despite some of the characters she has portrayed, she seems like a down-to-earth person who keeps it all in check. "I enjoy those small chats you have when people come up and talk to you about your work. It only involves a few seconds of effort to be nice to those people, and I am very grateful for the kind words that people have taken the trouble to express to me in person."

To me, this reflects the true essence of a woman: she loves life, enjoys being a woman, loves her family, and acknowledges the light in all of us. That is why I salute Helena Bonham Carter...she is the real deal...mismatched shoes and all.

  6. I gotta admit I love her body of work, and her body. While staying at The Four Seasons in Beverly Hills courtesy of a producer friend, I sunned next to her poolside where she swam regularly every afternoon and then lounged sipping what I believe was a chocolate milkshake through a straw. I never got more out of her than an icy hello, I think I creeped her out which is saying something as she is with Tim Burton. Obviously I cannot charm everyone.
I once creeped out Ali McGraw in Santa Fe but that is another story.
