Yes, yes, yes...as a Catholic I know all about trying to do good and be good. I remember the bracelets, bumper stickers, tee-shirts, troll dolls, etc. proclaiming we should all ask "What Would Jesus Do" before proceeding with our actions. However, while I try my best to be a good person (truly I do) I find it more realistic to ask myself, "Self, what would Coco do?"

Recently I received an e-mail from Kim Kardashian. I kid you not! But before you have me pegged as her next BFF, I must advise that I have never flashed my hoo hoo (sans undergarments or otherwise) getting into or out of a vehicle, I do not have a nasally voice utilized to end every sentence as a question, and I have been married nearly 20 years as opposed to days/hours so it is safe to assume I do not fit the Kim-Kardashian-BFF-mould.

So classes have begun and copious amounts of great literature are being digested and discussed. The first days of classes are always filled with excited anticipation as each syllabus is distributed, goals are set, introductions are made, and work begins. Truth be known, I have come to the point in my academic career when more often than not an assignment is given before the class even begins. And that's okay...well, usually...until I received this assignment from two different professors today...

Recently I have shared how my hiatus was a time for growth...mentally, physically, and spiritually. Life is beautiful and I must remember to never take it for granted. Perhaps I was...I certainly didn't mean to...and once again life handed me a reality check.

When I first told my husband I was trying yoga he cracked up laughing and said, "Trying what with Yoda? Is the force going to be with you? Coordinated not you are." This was one of those times he should be grateful I am committed to that vow which prevents me from putting the occasional pillow over his head...but it did get me thinking....
